can it be summer now?

i have absolutely nothing against winter. i just miss summer. and alaska. and summer in alaska. i think michael and i are quite spoiled when it comes to the fact that we were raised in the last frontier. there's something different about being from alaska, something magical.

the end of april along the seward highway. spring is a little late up north...

sand lake:)

my sissy and me, fishing. obviously. please excuse my boy hair.

that cute husband of mine, the week before we were married

i miss alaska mountains the most. nothing compares.

my cute mom and me in fairbanks. my dad was competing in a half ironman.i miss her lots.

the temple, past midnight

I kind of think that if Alaska was always like the summer pictures you have, I would love it a lot more.

I don't get homesick when I'm gone, but I definitely get Alaskasick. The mountains everywhere have got nothing on the mountains at home. Somedays I wish it was warmer, but the colors are almost always better when the air is crisp!
