i figured i should probably mark the occasion with a blog post. yay!
besides blogging to mark this extra special day, mother nature surprised us with a snow storm.
oh, and nbd, but my poor little car got hit, in the school parking lot while i was picking up michael. little v (that's what i've named it, just now.) has taken quite the beating. i think this marks the sixth time our car has taken a beating from a bigger car... :( sigh. this time was different then the other times though, in that absolutely no damage was done (as in, there was no more damage to be done to it haha). i'm seriously starting to think that a driver's license test should be taken every year. rexburg could really use it.
besides that, we have been sick as dogs over here. we've also been petting dogs. neither are related to each other. oh and fyi: post nasal drip is maybe one of the most uncomfortable things i've experienced, sickness wise. so after spending lots of money on me to buy throat lozenges, my new BFF mucinex, and lots and LOTS of soup and juice, i start to feel better just as mikie starts to feel worse. tis the season, right?
we were in idaho falls a couple of weekends ago and came across this guy selling puppies in a parking lot. i don't even really like dogs but for that fifteen minutes i really wanted one. i mean, how could you not? however, we like to think we are logical and sensible people and so we didn't fork over the $300 and impulsively buy a dog, but we watched some people do that. they impulsively bought a dog, that is, with their $300 pocket change.
p.s. if you're in the market for a car that can take a beating, the nissan versa is where it's at ;-) ;-)

Those puppies are the cutest thing ever! Sorry you guys have been sick. And about the car! I agree with you on the drivers test frequency. But maybe just every other year... like a temple recommend. :) Hope you (and the car, oh, and 'you' is plural) feel better soon! ;P
We have been sick as dogs too! And we actually got a new puppy! I hate post-nasal drip too, but I have to say the worst thing is actually bilateral ear infections. YES that is ear infections in BOTH ears at the same time. First time I get an ear infection and its a double whammy. Not fun. But our new puppy is fun. Wish we were closer so we could play!
I love leap day posts that have nothing to do with leap day. Good to know about your car. In other car related news someone got into our car and stole 6 dollars in quarters and then left a cigarette. So maybe he thought we were playing bigger and better?
