I WANT TO SAY THANKS TO FIVE THINGS.

1. thank you, sick january, for finally being over.
i made lots of soup. so much soup, mikie was begging for something solid to eat. "a burger!" he cried. "anything but soup!" so i saved the soup for my lunches by myself. pros: eating all the soup that i wanted, and making some of the carrots into heart shapes because i'm really creative (jk, thanks pinterest). cons: there are no cons when it comes to soup in the winter. duh.

i guess i really love egg noodles.

2. thank you, iTunes, for releasing the rest of downton abbey all at once.
i won't spoil it for others (EVEN THOUGH I REALLY WANT TO TALK ABOUT EVERYTHING).  i can't wait for season 4! i've been watching youtube clips of character interviews, and i just want to say i'm extremely glad that rob james-collier is not as nasty as his character in real life. oh and by the way, thank you for having eragon on your show. :)

3. thank you, idaho weather for 'warming up'. but really, thank you for not being -20 still.
hey, everybody, remember that time it was -20 and the power went out for four hours? i'm just saying i would much prefer having a power outage in this weather than the weather a couple of weeks ago. also, while we're at it, it snowed a lot last week, and i was wondering how rexburg's snow removal system is so incredibly inefficient? really, these giant berms in the middle of the street don't really allow anybody to turn left. but those are gone, and i'm extremely thankful.

seriously, there's no turning left. 

i made mikie that wool slouchy hat. i just figured i'd slip it in under the picture of a bunch of snow.

4. thank you, stake conference. you are wonderful.
president clark attended and spoke at our conference, and it was fantastic. i'm not a student, so this was the first time i ever heard from president clark and he is so nice. i don't think i could live in a nicer married-student stake.

5. thank you, mixed nuts, for providing with us with lots of one-liners to quote all day.
also, we've been singing this for the last week. i don't know why.
