ALASKA CELL PHONE PICTURES (LIKE I WOULD ACTUALLY GO GET MY CAMERA AND UPLOAD PICTURES HA HA)

hi guys, i'm typing from the new spare bedroom in the house i grew up in, in alaska! our trip is quickly coming to a close, so i figured that i'd show you these pictures to show off how unimpressive alaska is, and how these pictures do in fact, show justice, or maybe even more than justice. i have this "make scenery look really great" function on my top-of-the-line iPhone 4, so don't be fooled by how 'majestic' alaska looks.

^^this campground was okay, i mean, if lots of trees, fireweed, and s'mores is your thing. which, i don't know why it would be cause honestly, gag me. that stuff is dumb.

^^we walked up to a glacier, which, nbd. i mean, glaciers were everywhere, so it's not like we weren't seeing them all the time, every day. i'm pretty sure it's okay if you take it for granted.

^^this was our mediocre view of the inlet from our campground in hope, home of the alaskan gold rush! it was alright, i guess. i mean, if you were to hold me at gunpoint and force me to compliment the view, i guess i would go as far as to say it was beautiful and i've missed seeing that crap all the time. (that was theoretical though, cause of course you have me at gunpoint.)

^^so we went on this kenai fjord's tour thing, and we saw like two humpbacks, two killer whales and one orca. or was it three orcas? i don't even know. anyway, the killer whales were doing these awfully obnoxious flips out of water and we were all like "another day, another whale jumping out of the ocean doing flips and stuff." 

^^after we went camping, our favorite people haleigh + brad (who are not married, just dating. and our favorites.) came over and we went canoeing. then they were like "hey, want to go to point woronzof to see the airplanes take off and land?"

for those who don't know, point woronzof is this little beach right under the runway. it's perfect if you like rock beaches filled with skipping stones, imagining all the people on those foreign airlines going to somewhere exotic, and hearing loss.

so we went, just to be nice, and i lost my hearing for a few days all for the sake of this picture. 

so take my word for it guys, don't visit this place. doesn't live up to the hype AT ALL. 

SERIOUSLY. WHAT IS THIS PLACE. ANYONE WHO LIVES HERE IS INSANE.
